MANILA, Philippines—Gerry Abadiano is headed to the Korean Basketball League (KBL) after signing with the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus.
Ulsan announced on Wednesday that the Hyundai Mobis Phoebus signed State U product Gerry Abadiano.

Abadiano is coming off a stint with the San Juan Knights in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).

The 5-foot-11 guard averaged 9.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 14 games for the Knights.
Before playing in the MPBL, Abadiano played five seasons with University of the Philippines, helping the school capture a couple of UAAP championships.
Abadiano replaced National University forward Jake Figueroa as Ulsan’s Asian quota player.
The former Gilas Pilipinas youth player joins his former UP teammates Carl Tamayo of Changwon and JD Cagulangan of Suwon in the KBL.
