Why Ryan Seacrest Canceled His RSVP to Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding
Ain’t it funny how rumors fly.
But while the public is clamoring to fill in the blank spaces of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding with any info they can, Tavia Hunt—wife to Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt—is ready to tell the truth from her red lips.
In fact, under one social media video claiming that the majority of wedding guests were forced to stand during the ceremony, that the venue quickly ran out of champagne and that A-list attendees such as Julia Roberts and Steven Spielberg were forced to wait in long lines for food, Hunt clapped back.
“This is such a false narrative,” she commented under the July 7 video. “They did not run out of champagne. There were not long lines. Every single person was seated for the ceremony.”
And because the video also alleged Swift and Kelce’s wedding vows—which were overseen by officiant Adam Sandler—took a total of 40 minutes, she weighed in with her thoughts.
“The vows were spectacular—beautiful, heartfelt, and absolutely perfect. It could not have been a more fabulous experience,” Hunt affirmed, before adding, “And frankly, it is inappropriate to say things like this when you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. That is hearsay—not truth.”

Indeed, while rumors have spread with varying info about what went down inside Madison Square Garden during the lavish ceremony—with some reports claiming the wedding was charming, if a little gauche—all the guests who have spoken out after the wedding have had nothing but gushing remarks.
“The ceremony was great, moving. Adam Sandler, funny and touching,” Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos told ABC News on July 4. “Vows, everything you would hope for, real, vulnerable, serious and silly. Deeply loving. Who knew that a wedding in Madison Square Garden could be so intimate?”
And his cohosts agreed, with Robin Roberts calling the affair “really intimate,” in part because the couple invited friends from all eras of their lives, including neighbors and high school friends.
As she put it, “It really was like any wedding you'd attend."
Michael Strahan, meanwhile, knows the event was Swift and Kelce’s perfect fairytale.
“It was their dream wedding,” he said. “It really was amazing, congratulations to them."
