Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour: The Final Show’ Nets 5 Emmy Noms With Swift Earning One Herself

Taylor Swift’s filmic final bow in regards to her record-breaking Eras tour, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show has earned five Emmy nominations, with Swift getting one herself.

The Emmy era for the companion film to the six-part docuseries released last December includes recognition in the Best Variety Special (Prerecorded), Best Directing for a Variety Special, Outstanding Picture Editing For Variety Programming, Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special and Outstanding Technical Direction and Camerawork for a special.

Glenn Weiss is the recipient of the best directing nom. The film is nearly three and a half hours long, featuring 45 songs. Weiss is double-nominated in the category for also directing the 78th Annual Tony Awards.

Swift has one nom herself in the outstanding prerecorded variety special as a producer and performer in the film. This is not her first nomination, though, because she won a trophy for Outstanding Creative Achievement In Interactive Media in 2015 for AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience. Others nominated alongside Swift in that category are executive producers Baz Halpin, Mark Bracco and Linda Gierahn as well as supervising producer Rose-Ellen Galluzzo and line producer Bradley Stein.

The Final Show was also produced by Taylor Swift Productions in association with Silent House Productions.

The concert film premiered Dec. 12, 2025 on Disney+, highlighting the last concert on the very extensive tour, during which Swift performed songs from almost all of her albums ever released. The Life of a Showgirl came out after she wrapped tour, and her debut album featured in the surprise songs section a few times. The film was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia.

In a few categories, the film will compete with Bad Bunny’s Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show as well as the 2026 Oscars. Swift could also end up in the Oscars conversation next year for her song “I Knew It, I Knew You” written for Toy Story 5 (2026).
