
MANILA, Philippines – Ayala Corp. has completed the entry of global infrastructure investor AP Moller Capital into its logistics arm, marking a key step in its bid to expand AC Logistics and strengthen supply chain services in the Philippines.
The country’s oldest conglomerate said on Wednesday that AP Moller Capital- Emerging Markets Infrastructure Fund II, through EMIF II Holding III BV, completed its investment for a 40-percent stake in AC Logistics after satisfying all closing conditions, including merger control clearances.

The transaction formalizes a strategic partnership that combines AP Moller’s global transportation and logistics expertise with Ayala’s local market knowledge and experience in building businesses in the Philippines.

“This partnership reflects Ayala’s long-standing strategy of working with world-class companies to scale our businesses, strengthen execution and serve customers better,” said Ayala president and CEO Cezar Consing.
According to the company, the partnership is expected to support AC Logistics’ next phase of growth as it expands its nationwide footprint and capacity, enhances service offerings, strengthens operational capabilities and adopts global best practices and connectivity.
Ayala said the partnership goes beyond fresh capital, with AP Moller brings industry expertise that will help AC Logistics grow across its four areas—cold chain, air cargo logistics, contract logistics and national distribution and project cargo.
The company said these capabilities will allow AC Logistics to better serve industries such as food, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and retail.

Ayala also noted that AC Logistics had earlier completed the acquisition of an 84-percent stake in Glacier Megafridge Inc. (GMI), a move that strengthens its cold chain platform.

The parent firm said the addition of GMI will enhance the company’s ability to provide temperature-controlled logistics services for sectors where product integrity and reliability are critical.
AC Logistics president and CEO Erry Hardianto described the completion of the investment and the GMI acquisition as a transformative step toward building a leading integrated logistics platform in the country.
Hardianto said the company will initially focus on integrating GMI into its network, aligning operations and teams and unlocking commercial synergies while taking a phased approach to broader integration.
