
MANILA, Philippines — Kanlaon Volcano on Thursday morning saw a “moderately explosive eruption,” the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs said the eruption ended at 7:36 a.m.

Mt. Kanlaon, which covers 24,557.60 hectares of land area with rain forests and verdant vegetation, has been under Alert Level 2, which means there is an increased unrest in the volcano.
