Performance-based bonus grant approved
The Office of the President (OP) approved the grant of the 2024 PBB to qualified government employees following the review by the technical working group created under Executive Order (EO) No. 61, signed in 2024.
EO 61 established a streamlined and simplified government performance management and incentives system.
The PBB is a performance-based bonus granted to qualified personnel in government agencies that meet the requirements of the government’s performance management system.

To qualify, an agency must earn an overall score of at least 70 points under the scoring system prescribed in the memorandum circular (MC) issued on July 3.
Agencies that receive a rating below 4 in any eligibility criterion, however, will face exclusions.
The MC states that units and individuals—including the head of the concerned unit—found to be primarily responsible for any deficiency will be “isolated and excluded from the grant of the FY 2024 PBB.” (PNA)
