
Despite her hectic showbiz schedule, Caprice Cayetano still makes time for her hobbies, revealing she is set to learn baking as part of her “side quest era.”
“Whenever I have free time after work, I explore different side quests. I make bracelets, play mobile games, and hopefully soon, I’ll start baking pastries,” said the 17-year-old actress.
Cayetano underscored that she pursues different activities to know and understand herself better, as every hobby brings out a “different side” of her.

For instance, she said, the craft of making bracelets—which she learned from her mother who used to create and sell handmade accessories—teaches her the value of patience.
Meanwhile, she and her cousins spend quality time by gaming, which creates a tighter bond between them.
Cayetano was then inspired to explore her skills in baking, noting her love for food which she got from her father, renowned Filipino chef and restauranteur Jorge Mendez.
“I’m really excited to try baking pastries. If Daddy is known for his main dishes, maybe someday I’ll be known for pastries,” she said.

Speaking about exploring different interests, she continued, “I think we Gen Zs enjoy having lots of side quests because they help us discover new things about ourselves and even the paths we may want to pursue.”
Cayetano further hinted at trying new activities including vlogging and singing.

“Keep exploring. Choose side quests that genuinely make you happy because those experiences help you become the best version of yourself,” she advised fellow Gen Zs.
Aside from being an ambassador of several brands, Cayetano’s recent milestones also include her first lead role in the GMA series “You’re My Favorite Song.” /edv
