Iranian army reports cruise missile attack on US vessels off Bahrain coast

RABAT, July 9. /TASS/. The Iranian Armed Forces have launched cruise missile strikes against several US warships off the coast of Bahrain, the Islamic Republic’s state television reported.

"Iran’s Armed Forces have fired cruise missiles at US vessels stationed off the coast of Bahrain," the TV reported, citing an Iranian military representative.

According to the report, a US destroyer was among those targeted. There is no information about possible damage to US warships.
