Amanda Batula Leaving ‘Summer House’ After West Wilson Dating Scandal
Summer House is headed north.
The hit Bravo reality series, which concluded its milestone 10th season last month, is getting its own spinoff Summer House Canada, NBCUniversal confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter July 9.
The series—set to premiere in 2027—will be filmed in Muskoka, Ontario, a lakeside vacation town outside of Toronto, and will air on Hayu, NBCUniversal’s international reality TV streaming platform.
"We’re thrilled to bring this adaptation of the standout Summer House format to the market," Hendrik McDermott, Managing Director, International Director to Consumer at NBCUniversal, said in a statement July 9, "and Muskoka offers the perfect, iconic Canadian setting to introduce Summer House Canada and build on the franchise’s momentum."
Erin Haskett, President and Executive Producer at Vancouver's Lark Productions, added, "Summer House has become a beloved global franchise known for its authentic friendships, big personalities and the unforgettable moments that come from spending a summer together. We’re excited to build on that by bringing the Canadian summer experience to fans worldwide."
Summer House's popularity has soared amid the recent dating scandal surrounding former costars Amanda Batula and West Wilson, who confirmed their romance in March.
The scandal not only ended the couple's friendships with their cast mates, but it also resulted in Amanda and West both recently leaving the show amid ongoing backlash over their betrayal of West's ex and Amanda's former BFF Ciara Miller.
And while the drama caused irreparable damage in the Hamptons share house, it helped the show earn its first-ever 2026 Emmy nomination.
Indeed, the show was recognized in the Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program category as the nominees were revealed on July 8.
For series O.G. Carl Radke, the nom felt like the ultimate validation after a decade of endlessly entertaining pool parties and bikini-clad beach romps.

"It's a big testament to what we've been building and the team and everybody that comes together—it's a family," Carl exclusively told E! News hours after the Television Academy's announcement. "I'm really excited for everybody because it's not just us on the cast. It's everybody included that makes the show happen."
As such, the 41-year-old—who has starred on the Bravo series alongside Kyle Cooke and Lindsay Hubbard since its debut season in 2017—made sure to give credit where credit is due.
"This is for our producers, the editors, all the people that work behind the scenes," Carl added. "We have an incredible crew. So it's cool to be honored, but this is an award for all the other people, not the people you actually get to see on [TV]."
While fans wait to see if Summer House wins its first Emmy when the awards are announced Sept. 14, keep reading for an update on the cast's love lives.
