Bunnie Xo Calls Out Hate Comments After Gaining Weight During IVF Journey
Bunnie Xo is unfiltered and unapologetic when it comes to calling out the haters.
The Dumb Blonde podcaster got candid about the struggles she faced with her body while going through in vitro fertilization (IVF) with soon-to-be ex-husband Jelly Roll, especially when it came to the comments she received from strangers on the internet.
“As I was going through IVF it put weight on me and people would be like, ‘Oh, she's bigger than her husband now,’” Bunnie shared on the July 7 episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast. “And you're literally trying to make a baby with your body.”
“It’s like people just have no respect,” the 46-year-old added. “The internet is just so crazy.”
Thankfully, Bunnie—who is currently going through divorce proceedings with Jelly Roll—figured out the best way to be OK with the criticism.
“I’ve learned that it's just miserable people who have nothing better to do than just comment on other people's lives,” she explained. “So, you can't ever let that get to you.”
The Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic author also detailed her experiences with the ups and downs of her IVF journey, which was made slightly more difficult because of her endometriosis diagnosis.
“My stomach after I did the IVF—you have to pump yourself full of estrogen and all these hormone—so the endometriosis just fed off of that,” she noted. “My lower stomach would pooch out. It looked like I I was like three months pregnant and it would not go away. The only thing that took it away was microdosing the GLP-1.”

And while some might question why she was taking the weight loss medication, for Bunnie it was never about losing weight.
“We’re really trying to get our bodies in check and in order,” she said. “And getting the inflammation down is probably the number one thing that could do for your body.”
She added, “It's not just about losing weight or taking a shortcut. It's about literally trying to help yourself and help yourself feel better.”
