Taylor Frankie Paul Speaks Out After Rehab Stay, Shares She's on Antidepressants
Taylor Frankie Paul’s future isn’t quite a secret.
Amid rumors that the reality star is returning for season five of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, E! News has learned that she will only be back in a limited capacity.
Paul will be filming intros for the Hulu series over the next couple of days and participating in pick-ups shots for the show’s opening title sequence.
Paul had previously addressed speculation that she and ex Dakota Mortensen would not be returning to SLOMW after filming of the show was put on hold in mid-March following allegations of a domestic violence incident between the two. Replying to an Instagram post in April about their absence, Paul commented, "Interesting, that's not the call I got."
Still, it was clear that the 32-year-old was setting aside time for herself and her family, with a source previously telling E! News, "Taylor’s priority is her mental health and her family right now.”
"She wants to come back to the show in the future," the insider added, "but right now the focus is her family life and her wellbeing. When she's ready, the door is absolutely open.”
Paul has also been candid about her recent stay in rehab, explaining that she wanted to be an open book about her mental health.

"I knew that I was in a spot to take a step back and be like, ‘OK, we need a reset,'" Paul said in a series of videos posted to her Instagram Stories July 6. "Number one priority was just a reset for my mental health and to get away—decompress, whether it’s one day, whether it’s seven, whether it’s 30. I willingly did that. That was my choice."
Unfortunately, Paul—who shares a daughter, 8, and son, 6, with ex Tate Paul and a son, 2, with Mortensen—felt that her time in treatment had been "weaponized" against her, despite her feeling like she was “actually doing the right thing of noticing I needed extra help.”

"I ended up finding a really good antidepressant that has been working for me," she shared. "I will share the meds eventually, however, I like to trial and error before I talk about them because it takes a while to set in, and I would hate to be recommending something that I don’t even like myself.”
E! News has reached out to Hulu and Paul’s rep about her return to the show but hasn’t received a comment.
