A Deception Bay man has been charged with child sex offences, with police calling on anyone who has experienced similar behaviour to come forward.
Police allege on two separate occasions on June 9 and June 28 the 50-year-old man approached a 15-year-old girl and 13-year-old girl near Roma Street Station in Brisbane.
He then travelled with them by train to Deception Bay, where the alleged offences occurred.
The man was arrested at Mango Hill East train station, north of Brisbane, and has been charged with multiple child sex and drug offences.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Caboolture Magistrates Court later this month.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Kate Mitchell urged anyone with further information to come forward, saying police believe there could be additional victims.
"The alleged nature and circumstances of this offending are extremely concerning particularly as we believe there may be other victims who have not yet been identified," she said.
"While the man is no longer in the community, we are appealing to anyone who may have experienced similar behaviour, or who has information about similar incidents in the Brisbane City or Deception Bay areas, to contact police."
