Alia Bhatt entered uncharted territory as she debuted in the YRF spy Universe with ‘Alpha.’ Though it was the first time the actress tried her hand in the respective genre, she impressed her fans.

The film’s box office performance further solidified Alia’s stature in Bollywood. According to trade reports, the movie opened with an impressive weekend. During the weekdays, it managed to maintain a decent pace at the ticket window. According to Sacnilk, the Shiv Rawail directorial earned Rs 2.60 crore across 7,018 shows on Thursday. With the latest numbers, the total India gross collection of ‘Alpha’ stood at Rs 56.66 crore and net earnings at Rs 47.55 crore.Coming to overseas collections, the 7th instalment of YRF's spy-verse added Rs 1.25 crore to the tally on day 7, taking its total gross to Rs 22.55 crore. This pushed the worldwide gross collection of ‘Alpha’ to Rs 79.21 crore.

‘Alpha’ day 7 occupancy

The overall occupancy rate of ‘Alpha’ on Thursday, July 9, 2026, was 9.21 per cent. The occupancy trend witnessed a decent morning footfall, and as the day progressed, the percentage rose.

In the morning, ‘Alpha’ saw 6.08 per cent occupancy, which rose to 9.15 per cent in the afternoon. The evening shows witnessed 9.85 per cent occupancy, while in the night, the rate reached 11.77 per cent occupancy.
