Just over a week after sharing that his cancerous lumps had already disappeared, Ate Gay revealed that a new lump was discovered on his neck and that he is undergoing treatment anew for it.
Ate Gay, or Gil Aducal Morales in real life, documented his recent hospital visit for his medical treatment, through his Facebook page on Thursday, July 9. The comedian has been diagnosed with mucoepidermoid squamous cell carcinoma, a rare type of cancer.
“Nakitaan ako ng bukol sa ibaba ng leeg ko, malapit sa balikat na agad nila inagapan,” he said. (Doctors found a lump below my neck, near my shoulder, and they immediately treated it.)

Reiterating his gratitude, he made mention of his “angels” and his doctors.
“‘Di naman maapektuhan ang energy ko dahil dito. Pinapayagan nila ako mag-perform ng bonggang-bongga,” he added.
(This won’t affect my energy at all. My doctors have even allowed me to continue performing.)
Morales, who first disclosed his condition to the public in 2025, revealed last March that actress-fashion influencer Heart Evangelista is one of the people who have been helping him financially in his medical treatments. /ra
