Northland crash kills two people, another in critical condition

A serious crash in a Northland town has killed two people and another has been critically injured.

Police said two people died at the scene.

Kaitaia-Awaroa Road at the intersection with Tangonge Road in Ahipara has been closed, following the crash.

The crash was reported at 9.40am and police warned motorists to avoid the area.
