
CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — The municipal government of Mansalay in Oriental Mindoro suspended classes on Friday afternoon due to bad weather brought by Typhoon Inday.
The suspension, covering all levels in both public and private schools, was approved by Mayor Ferdinand “Totoy Jerie” Maliwanag upon the recommendation of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and other school personnel.

The local government also urged residents to remain vigilant, avoid flood-prone and landslide-risk areas, and monitor official weather advisories and announcements from concerned government agencies.
