Adelaide Crows defender Josh Worrell was in a collision involving a pedestrian on Friday morning.
In a statement, SA Police confirmed they were investigating a collision between a car and pedestrian on Port Road at Woodville that occurred this morning.
"Both parties attended police stations this afternoon to report the collision," police said.
Police said they did not attend the scene and would not provide further details due to privacy principles.
The Adelaide Football Club also confirmed in a statement that one of its players was in a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.
Following the crash, Worrell missed the Crows' morning training.
But the club told ABC News the player was physically OK and expected him to play in their clash with Gold Coast on Saturday night at Adelaide Oval.
