MANILA, Philippines – Gokongwei-backed GoTyme Bank has reached 10 million users as of July, just over three years after its launch, while customer deposits have grown to more than P53 billion.
“Reaching 10 million users is an important milestone on our journey to become the Philippines’ largest and most loved bank, but for us, it’s really about the trust that millions of Filipinos place in GoTyme Bank every day,” GoTyme Bank CEO Nate Clarke said in a statement on Friday.

The digital bank credited its growing customer base to wider use of its services and the expansion of its physical touchpoints.
It operates more than 600 kiosks in Robinsons Retail outlets and SM Stores nationwide, supported by over 1,200 bank ambassadors. Customers can deposit and withdraw cash at over 2,500 Robinsons Retail checkout lanes and deposit cash at more than 4,500 7-Eleven branches nationwide.
The milestone comes as digital banks and e-wallet operators recently waived or cut InstaPay and PESONet fees under a new BSP policy to make digital transactions more affordable.
But notably, GoTyme had already been offering up to 20 free InstaPay transfers per month to its user before the latest developments.

The 10-million-user milestone met the bank’s target of reaching that level by mid-year. Clarke earlier told reporters that GoTyme aims to have nearly 12 million customers by the end-2026.
Clarke said the bank remains focused on growing its customer base and expanding services, with GoTyme aiming to become profitable by 2027. /pai INQ
