Wine, oysters and sunsets at Vicentino Wines

Vicentino Wines is celebrating the summer season with a series of wine, food and live music events at its winery on the Alentejo coastline, inviting visitors to experience the region through its wines, gastronomy and coastal setting.

Running throughout July and August, the programme includes guided tastings, oyster pairings, live music and opportunities to meet the winery’s head winemaker, all designed to showcase the character of the Alentejo coast in a relaxed atmosphere.

The first event, Oysters & Bubbles, takes place on July 16 from 6pm to 8pm. Guests will enjoy fresh oysters paired with Vicentino’s Le Mer sparkling wine, accompanied by live music as the sun sets over the vineyards. Priced at €39 per person, the event is limited to 30 participants.

On July 26, the winery will host Meet the Winemaker, an intimate tasting led by head winemaker Ana Rita Bouça. Running from 2pm to 5pm, the session offers visitors the chance to learn more about Vicentino’s vineyards, grape varieties and winemaking philosophy while tasting a selection of wines. Places are limited to 10 guests, with tickets costing €55 per person.

Throughout both months, the winery will also host Sunset Wine & Music every Thursday from 6pm to 8pm. The free events invite visitors to enjoy a glass of wine while listening to live music in the heart of the estate.

“Wine remains the starting point, but we believe the best memories are created when it is combined with gastronomy, music and the authenticity of this region.”

With the summer programme, Vicentino Wines is continuing to expand its wine tourism offering, highlighting the close connection between its vineyards, the Atlantic Ocean and the landscapes of the Costa Alentejana.
