Vale do Lobo has unveiled its summer programme, with two major outdoor productions set to headline a packed season of live entertainment on the resort’s golf course.
On Saturday, July 18, at 8pm, Queen Sensation will recreate the energy and music of Freddie Mercury through the acclaimed performance of Ivan Ristanovic, bringing many of the legendary band’s greatest hits to the Algarve.
A month later, on Saturday, August 22, at 8pm, Disco Inferno will transport audiences back to the golden age of Studio 54 with an immersive celebration of disco classics, complete with dazzling choreography, colourful costumes and iconic dancefloor anthems.
Before then, the resort will stage its inaugural Vale do Lobo Arraial this Saturday (July 11), from 7.30pm to 11.30pm, at the Tennis Academy. Inspired by Portugal’s traditional summer festivities, the event will feature traditional food, live music, artisan stalls, family entertainment and a performance by the Almancil Popular Marches.
The concerts form part of a wider summer programme running until September 12, with daily live music, sporting activities and children’s entertainment across the resort.
The Praça once again becomes one of Vale do Lobo’s main social hubs, hosting daily performances by bands including Just Gold, TVN Band, Volta e Meia Trio and 2 Soul Trio, alongside artisan markets and family activities. Younger visitors can also enjoy a vintage carousel, inflatable castle, creative workshops and appearances by the resort’s mascot, Lobito.
Sport also plays a central role, with the Tennis Academy offering its Junior Tennis Coaching Programme and the Summer Junior Golf Academy running themed coaching sessions throughout July and August for aspiring young golfers.
The full summer programme is available on Vale do Lobo’s official website.
