After Friday, a red heat warning is
confirmed for the next two days for Florence and Perugia: the
highest level of heat risk for the two regional capitals is
certified by the Ministry of Health's heatwave bulletin, which
concerns 27 urban centers.
The red alert is when even healthy people are at risk.
Florence, however, was already in the red zone yesterday, while
Perugia was in the orange zone, indicating a heat risk for the
most vulnerable.
Today, only Brescia is in the orange zone: tomorrow, it will
drop to the yellow level, indicating a pre-alert state for
possible heatwaves.
On Saturday, the orange warnings increase to four (Campobasso,
Frosinone, Rieti, and Rome) and on Sunday to six (Bologna,
Bolzano, Frosinone, Rieti, Rome, and Turin).
Three cities are green-rated (no heat risk) today (Bari,
Catania, and Naples), five tomorrow (Genoa, Naples, Trieste,
Venice, and Verona), and two on Sunday (Venice and Verona). All
other cities are yellow.
