Lagoa’s popular “A Cultura Sai à Rua – Celebramos a Música Local” festival is back for another summer, bringing free live music and cultural entertainment to towns and villages across the municipality until September 19.
Building on the success of previous editions, the initiative showcases local musical talent while transforming public spaces into open-air venues throughout the summer months.
Organisers say this year’s programme continues the format introduced last year, which attracted significantly larger audiences, with an increased number of performances planned in areas with higher concentrations of residents and visitors. The aim is not only to celebrate local artists but also to encourage footfall and support businesses in Lagoa’s commercial centres.
The festival will also strengthen its presence in locations that previously attracted smaller audiences by linking performances with events organised by the municipality’s parish councils.
Running until September 19, the programme will feature a wide range of musical performances set against the backdrop of Lagoa’s cultural and natural heritage, helping to animate warm summer evenings across the municipality.
All concerts are free to attend and open to the public.
Lagoa Municipality is encouraging residents and visitors alike to explore the programme and enjoy an evening of live entertainment while discovering different parts of the council area throughout the summer.
