The continued suspension comes as inclement weather has disrupted sea travel across several parts of the country, prompting the cancellation of ferry services to ensure the safety of passengers, vessels, and crew.
The Philippine Ports Authority earlier reported numerous canceled trips in various ports nationwide as weather conditions deteriorated.
Authorities advised travelers with essential trips to coordinate with shipping operators before proceeding to ports and to follow instructions from the Philippine Coast Guard and local disaster management offices. /das
