LUCENA CITY — Sea travel for all vessels in northern Quezon province resumed on Friday, July 10, after the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) lifted the gale warning in the area.
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) station in Real town said it lifted the sea travel ban following Pagasa’s 5 p.m. advisory announcing the lifting of the strong to gale-force wind warning associated with Typhoon “Inday” over the Polillo Group of Islands.
The island cluster facing the Pacific Ocean includes the municipalities of Polillo, Burdeos, Panukulan, Jomalig, and Patnanungan.

Earlier, on Wednesday, the PCG suspended sea travel for small vessels with a gross tonnage of 250 or below, including motorized passenger and fishing boats, in the northern part of the province due to rough sea conditions.
The suspension was imposed after strong to gale-force winds brought by Inday generated rough to very rough seas. /das
