In his acceptance speech, Commissioner Mendoza dedicated the recognition to the men and women of the Bureau who continue to develop digital services and serve taxpayers across the country.
“To our BIR revenuers, who work on our digital projects and assist our taxpayers on the front lines, this award is yours,” Commissioner Mendoza said.
“To our taxpayers: This Interactive Digital Tax Calendar, together with every digital project and streamlining initiative we have rolled out, is for you—to make your tax compliance easier, our rules clearer, and your transactions with the BIR faster and simpler,” he said.
Launched during the 2026 National Tax Campaign Kickoff, the Interactive Digital Tax Calendar is an in-house-developed digital platform that transformed the Bureau’s traditional printed tax calendar into an interactive online resource, enabling taxpayers to conveniently access tax deadlines, filing requirements, and compliance information in one place.

Commissioner Mendoza said that alongside the Bureau’s long-term, large-scale digital transformation initiatives, the BIR will continue to develop practical digital innovations that improve the taxpayer experience, simplify tax compliance, and support the government’s digital transformation agenda.
