Qui-Si-Sana beach in Sliema is safe for swimming once again, with health authorities officially lifting the bathing warning issued earlier this month.
The Environmental Health Directorate confirmed that repeated seawater tests found the site to be fit for bathing, allowing swimmers to return.
The popular beach was temporarily closed after a sewage leak caused the water quality to deteriorate, making it unsafe for swimming. It was one of several beaches affected by sewage-related incidents in recent weeks.
Following the latest round of testing, authorities have confirmed that the water quality has returned to safe levels and the health warning has now been withdrawn.
