Three arrested and charged over death of man in Aberdeen

In a statement his family said: "He was a caring and loving person, and the grief experienced due to this unexpected loss has been unimaginable.

"There has not been a single day that David has been out of our thoughts, and he will remain in our hearts forever.

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank Police Scotland for their dedication in the inquiry and for the support they have provided our family throughout this incredibly traumatic time."

Police Scotland Det Insp Andy Machray said: "Our thoughts remain with David's family during this difficult time.

"Incidents of this nature can understandably cause concern for the local community, and we'd like to thank the public for their support during this investigation."
