The 29-year-old Barkley, a 6-foot-5 southpaw, was tapped by Blackwater after a professional career that includes a short NBA G League run in 2018 and stints in Asia.
His notable stops were with Taiwan Beer in Taiwan, Singapore Slingers in the Asean Basketball League, Saigon Heat in Vietnam and Kesatria Bengawan Solo in Indonesia.
