Human head found in Cansojong, Talisay City

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — A human head was found in a grassy area of Dawis Road, Barangay Cansojong in Talisay City, around 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

The Talisay City Police Station received a report from a concerned citizen regarding the find.

The police immediately went to the area, and upon arrival, the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) personnel were already there.

Based on the initial investigation of the police, the human head was discovered by alias RJ, an e-bike driver.

Alias RJ was scavenging in the area when he saw the human head.

He immediately reported to the authorities.

Police are still investigating the incident and identifying the dead person.

They also urged those who have a missing family member and the public to help identify the victim.
