
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Police and military operatives arrested on Friday a 37-year-old woman, identified as a former political officer of the communist movement in Northern Mindanao, for frustrated murder.
Authorities served the arrest warrant against Lea Amor Torres Antihao, who goes by the aliases “Digan” and “Yadi,” at around 2:10 p.m. inside a military facility in Malaybalay City.
Antihao, a resident of Barangay Tugaya in Valencia City, is allegedly previously connected with the North Central Mindanao Regional Command of the New People’s Army.

She was arrested by virtue of a warrant for frustrated murder (Criminal Case No. 42547-24) issued on March 11, 2024. The court recommended a bail bond of P200,000.

The operation was spearheaded by the 1st Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company, led by Lt. Col. Dave E. Mahilum, in coordination with the Malaybalay City Police Station, the Army’s 43rd Military Intelligence Company, and regional police intelligence units.
Following a custody motion approved by the Regional Trial Court Branch 46 in Malaybalay City, Antihao is currently under the custody of the Army’s 403rd Brigade. /gsg
