WATCH: James Reid serenades Kathryn Bernardo with his ‘Randomantic’

It’s kilig overload for the fans of James Reid and Kathryn Bernardo as he serenaded the actress with his love song “Randomantic,” ahead of the release of their first project together, “Someone, Someday.”

The duo’s kilig moment was featured on iWant TV’s official TikTok page when Reid performed his hit track for Bernardo during the series’ exclusive fan music hangout. The clip showed the actor guiding Bernardo by the hand as he brought her to the front of the stage.

At one point, Bernardo, who appeared to be shy, tried to go back to the backside of the stage, but Reid tried to stop her as he continued singing the song. The actress eventually let Reid serenade her and started jamming to the song while the crowd continued to go crazy.

The song “Randomantic,” which was first released in 2016, recently gained renewed interest on TikTok. The music video originally starred Reid’s former on-screen partner and ex-girlfriend, Nadine Lustre. The pair broke up in 2020.

Reid is currently in a relationship with Issa Pressman, while Lustre is now dating Filipino-French businessman Christophe Bariou.

The serenade also came after Reid earlier drew laughs from fans after he casually mentioned Bernardo in front of Daniel Padilla during an event attended by both of them. The actress previously had a decade-long relationship with Padilla, her longtime screen partner in the KathNiel love team. They confirmed their breakup in 2023.

Bernardo is now rumored to be dating Lucena Mayor Mark Alcala, while Padilla is now dating actress Kaila Estrada.

Meanwhile, the hangout event was attended by Bernardo and Reid’s co-star Maja Salvador. It was hosted by Dimples Romana. It also featured performances from OPM singers Angela Ken, Shaniah Rollo, Bryan Chong, Fana, and Maki.

“Someone, Someday ” marks Reid and Bernardo’s first project together. It follows Bernardo as Billy, a young executive who finds purpose between caring for her younger brother and managing a dating app for women. Her friendship with Jordan (Reid) will deepen as she leans on him for support.
