
Another successful edition of Malta Fashion Week wrapped up yesterday, with the spotlight shifting from the runway to the Malta Fashion Awards, celebrating the creatives, models and industry professionals shaping local fashion.
Among the night’s biggest winners was Thomas Woods Jr, who took home both the Male Model Award and the Photo Model Award, while Makeup by Dea was recognised as Fashion Make-Up Artist of the Year.
Digital creator Marie Claire was crowned Content Creator of the Year, honouring her role in showcasing Malta’s growing fashion scene across social media.
On the modelling front, Laura Florczyk was awarded Female Photo Model, while Giulia Bartoli claimed the Female Model Award. Jeandor Farrugia also picked up the Fashion Stylist Award in recognition of his work within the local industry.
Behind the lens, Mathias Apap was named Fashion Photographer of the Year, while Matthias received the Up & Coming Award, recognising him as one of Malta’s rising fashion talents.
The evening’s most prestigious honour, the Outstanding Contribution Award, was presented to Anna Ancilleri in recognition of her lasting impact on Malta’s fashion industry over the years.
