Andy Cohen Confirms Jennifer Lawrence Helped Solve ‘Summer House’ Audio Leak
Don’t look up or you might miss Jennifer Lawrence’s brunette hair transformation.
The Oscar winner ditched her signature blonde locks as she stepped out in New York City July 9 rocking her darkest hair color in more than a decade.
For the outing, the 35-year-old—wearing a graphic T-shirt, oversized white trousers, brown sandals and a red purse—swapped her naturally light tresses for brown hair that served as a call back to her Hunger Games era, which she wore in a tousled ponytail with face-framing bangs.
And the brunette updo may stir up some nostalgia in film lovers. After all, the hairstyle is reminiscent of Lawrence’s onscreen look in the 2012 film Silver Linings Playbook, which scored her an Academy Award for her portrayal as Tiffany Maxwell in the movie opposite Bradley Cooper.
But her hair isn’t the only way she's changing up her look. Indeed, Lawrence—mom to Cy, 4, as well as a second son born in 2025 with husband Cooke Maroney—previously shared insight into her plans to go under the knife for a boob job.
“Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one,” Lawrence said in an interview with the New Yorker published in October 2025 of her postpartum body. “Second one, nothing bounced back.”
As for why she planned to undergo the procedure that November, Lawrence revealed she was set to film a nude scene for a film the following spring. However, she admitted that even if she wasn’t acting, she would still undergo the surgery.

“Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way,” the Die My Love star said. “But I think yes.”
Aside from her body, Lawrence touched on her stance when it comes to cosmetic injectables, revealing she hasn’t gotten filler but has done slight Botox.
And when it comes to getting a facelift someday, she noted a little facial “refresh is something for the future.”
“Believe me,” she said, “I’m gonna!”
