Love Island USA's Charlie Georgio Defends Brother Zach Not Asking Kayda to Be His Girlfriend
What happens outside the villa stays outside the villa.
After Alannah Keyser—who joined Love Island USA June 21 during Casa Amor—was abruptly booted from the reality dating show following resurfaced videos and screenshots of her using the N-word, fellow castmate Parmida Keshani revealed producers told the Islanders she left the show to tend to a personal matter.
As Keshani recalled to People in an interview published July 11, “We were told that she left for personal reasons.”
“I just was praying that she was okay,” she continued. “We were friends, so I was just like, well, ‘I hope it’s nothing family-related. I hope she’s okay.’”
And after Keyser was dumped from Casa Amor, Keshani noted it was business as usual, adding, “We kind of just had to move on.”
The 27-year-old—who was eliminated from the Island with partner Corbin Mims on the July 5 episode of the Peacock show—also shared she thought it was “pretty crazy” that Islander Kayda Bosse didn’t find out about her partner Zach Georgiou’s untimely uncoupling with Keyser until the show’s explosive two-part Movie Night.
Keyser was removed from the dating show after a video of her repeating lyrics from the Roddy Ricch song "The Box" circulated online. In the moment seemingly screen-recorded from Keyser's Snapchat Story, she appears to say, "She sucked a n---a soul, gotta Cash App."
Another screen grab of Keyser's Snapchat activity allegedly shows the USC student privately messaging a user, "and then that n----r literally tried to flirt with me" alongside a crying emoji.
Additionally, a comment seemingly posted from Keyser's Instagram account showed her using a slang variation of the slur.

Keyser’s exit was briefly addressed on Love Island USA, with narrator Iain Stirling noting after a commercial break during the June 25 episode, “Alannah has left Casa Amor.”
Following her exit, the 21-year-old addressed the controversy.
“When I first found out that these things were going around online, it really broke my heart, and I couldn’t do anything about it,” Keyser said in a June 27 TikTok video. “But this has definitely been a learning lesson for me, and it sucks that I didn’t get a chance to really show my personality and who I am.”
She added, “I do want to say directly that I do not support racism or discrimination of any kind, and I never have.”
