Man arrested after stabbing at North Shore property

One man is in hospital and another is due in court this morning following a stabbing on Auckland's North Shore.

Detective Inspector Megan Goldie said police were called to a party on Valley View Road in Glenfield just before 8pm on Sunday night.

They found a man with a stab wound who was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

A second man, aged 45, was arrested and charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, Goldie said.

He's due to appear in the North Shore District Court today.
