LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — Cebuanos can expect generally fair weather on Monday, July 13, as effects of the southwest monsoon or habagat eases over the Visayas.
In its daily forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Cebu will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies today.
Isolated rains and thunderstorms may occur due to localized thunderstorms, or brief weather distrubances often caused by daytime heating.

Weather systems in the Ph
Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon continues to affect most parts of Luzon on Monday.
However, Pagasa said the monsoon is expected to weaken and will likely no longer affect local weather conditions by Tuesday.
The easterlies, or warm winds from the east, will become the country’s dominant weather system within the next two to three days.
LPA outside PAR
Pagasa continues to monitor a low pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, which has a medium chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
As of 3 a.m. Monday, the weather bureau located the system at about 1,480 kilometers east of northeastern Mindanao.
Despite its development potential, the LPA is not expected to affect the country’s weather today.
Pagasa urged the public to monitor its latest weather updates and advisories amid these prevailing conditions.
