
Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro — At least 12 passengers and 63 vessels were affected by maritime disruptions in Southern Tagalog early Monday due to the lingering impact of Typhoon Inday, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said.
In its Maritime Safety Advisory covering 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. on July 13, the PCG reported that 12 passengers, truck drivers and cargo helpers, along with four rolling cargoes, were stranded in ports due to the suspension of sea travel.

The affected ports were San Andres, San Agustin, Looc, Balayan, Lemery, Bauan, Anilao, Tingloy, Wawa, Concepcion, Pola, and Balanacan.

The Coast Guard also said 50 vessels and 13 motorbancas took shelter as rough sea conditions made sailing unsafe.
Authorities advised the public, particularly those with scheduled sea travel, to monitor updates from the PCG, the Philippine Ports Authority, and local government units as weather conditions remain unstable.
