
Actress-singer Lindsay Custodio revealed that an arrest warrant has already been issued against her estranged husband, Frederick Cale, in connection with the violence against women and children (VAWC) case she filed against him last year.
Custodio shared the case development during an interview with select reporters at the surprise 80th birthday celebration of veteran director-producer Ben “M7” Yalung on Sunday, July 12, in Makati.
“He has a warrant of arrest already. Thank God. But the case is still ongoing. I’m not really sure if I’m allowed to discuss details. But that’s it,” she said.

Asked about her current situation, the former “Ang TV” alum said she is doing better and choosing to move forward.
“By God’s grace, I’m okay. Moving forward,” she said, adding that her healing remains a “continuous process,” especially since Cale has yet to be apprehended.
Despite the challenges, Custodio said she draws strength from her faith, as she also shared that she remains active in showbiz, accepting singing and acting engagements here and there.
“From the Lord. Prayers. I trust and I believe and I surrender,” she said.

Custodio and Cale got married in 2022. The actress-singer was previously married to former Tanauan, Batangas Vice Mayor Julius Caesar Platon II, who died in 2018. They share two kids together.
Meanwhile, Custodio has recently wrapped filming for the upcoming religious biographical film “Teresing,” directed by Yalung. It also stars Epy Quizon and Lloyd Samartino. /edv
