Fur babies draw laughs

A fur dad from Dipolog City gave netizens a good laugh after joking that his fur babies, Bubbles and Coffee, might have forgotten their “guard dog duties” after getting too comfortable sleeping beside him.

In a TikTok video, ka-Siloy Jhonric Panangitan hilariously asked, “Kinsa ma’y mo paghot ani ron?” as the two dogs cozily slept beside him, earning amused reactions from fellow fur parents online.

A birthday to remember

Sometimes, the simplest gestures leave the biggest impact.

Ka-Siloy Jeck Ochia Delos Santos, a youth volunteer of the Mohon Parish Youth Coordinating Council in Talisay City, shared a touching TikTok video showing how one of the parish cooks, Ate Edith, surprised him with homemade lumpia rolls for his birthday.

Delos Santos said he appreciated the thoughtful gift, noting that even the smallest acts of kindness can mean so much.

Mountain cat’s favorite snack

A hike to Mt. Kang-Irag became even more memorable after a group of hikers met a friendly mountain cat with an unexpected favorite snack.

TikTok user Sheva shared that the cat eagerly ate “butong,” or young coconut meat, after a local encouraged her to offer it some. She later wrote that it was little encounters like these that made the hike worthwhile.
