Chaos unfolded in Swieqi after bottles were thrown from the balconies of an Airbnb property, striking parked cars below.

Footage shared to Lovin Malta bottles being hurled from the building as loud shouting can be heard in the background. The video captures the dangerous behaviour, with vehicles parked in the street being hit.

The incident is likely to reignite concerns over disruptive behaviour linked to some short-term holiday rentals, particularly in residential areas during the peak summer season.

It is not yet known whether anyone was injured or whether the police were called to the scene.
