Fresh from completing their recruitment training, a group of newly qualified Armed Forces of Malta gunners have already found another way to serve the country, by donating blood.
The initiative was organised at Luqa Barracks with the National Blood Transfusion Service’s mobile blood donation unit, where many of the new recruits stepped forward to donate in a show of solidarity and community spirit.
The Armed Forces of Malta said the initiative reflects its commitment to serving the public both in and out of uniform, while highlighting the life-saving impact of blood donation.
Encouraging more people to become donors, the AFM reminded the public that a single donation can make a vital difference to someone in need.
