
Jericho Rosales had an ultimate fanboy moment after attending the Mumbai, India premiere of Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” where he got the chance to see the acclaimed filmmaker and stars Tom Holland and Matt Damon in person.
Rosales took to Instagram to share photos and a video documenting his experience at the star-studded premiere. Among the photos were shots of him posing on the red carpet, close-up images of Holland, Damon and Nolan, as well as a photo showing Damon signing an autograph for him.
The accompanying video captured highlights from the premiere, including Rosales enthusiastically cheering as Nolan and the cast greeted the audience, who were among the first in the world to watch the film.

“What an experience, so much fun. It’s a Nolan film. What do you expect? It’s always going to be big and it’s always going to be great. Watching this film makes you feel like you’re part of the adventure. You’re part of the journey home. It means the world to us,” Rosales said in the video.

The Filipino actor also showed the special souvenir handed out to attendees—a popcorn container designed to resemble an IMAX camera.
“I wish Christopher Nolan would sign this for me but I’m too shy to approach him,” he admitted.
Rosales also joked about wanting to work with the Oscar-winning filmmaker in the future.

“One could just wish for an actor like me na makasama siya sa pelikula na ’yon. If I had to audition to become a sword in the film, I would do it,” he said.

Rosales went on to praise Damon’s performance, adding, “Matt Damon gave an amazing performance. Mind you, I cried so many times.”

Based on Homer’s ancient Greek epic poem, “The Odyssey” follows the journey of King Odysseus as he struggles to return home to Ithaca after the Trojan War.
Aside from Holland and Damon, the adaptation features an ensemble cast including Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron and Jon Bernthal.
