MANILA, Philippines – Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) will launch a three-day flash sale this week, offering up to 50% off domestic base fares and 40% off international fares for bookings from July 15 to 17.
In an advisory on Monday, the Lucio Tan-led airline said these discounts will apply to travel beginning Feb. 1, 2027.
Passengers flying earlier—from Aug. 1, 2026 to Jan. 31, 2027—can avail themselves of discounts of up to 30 percent on select fares.

Cheaper airfares from July 16
To encourage advance bookings, PAL is also offering zero-percent installment plans for domestic ticket purchases worth at least P20,000, payable over up to three months using participating credit cards issued by BPI, Metrobank and HSBC.
Travelers may book promotional fares through the airline’s website, mobile application, ticket offices, hotline and accredited travel agents.
Coinciding with PAL’s announcement, the Civil Aeronautics Board on Monday lowered the allowable passenger fuel surcharge to Level 8 effective July 16, the lowest level since the Middle East conflict triggered volatility in global oil prices in late February.
Under Level 8, airlines may collect fuel surcharges ranging from P253 to P787 on domestic flights and P835.05 to P6,208.98 on international services.
Before the conflict drove oil prices higher, the surcharge was at Level 4, allowing airlines to collect only P117 to P342 for domestic flights and P385.70 to P2,867.82 for international routes. /pai INQ
