Prestone Ordone’s mom is starting a new chapter amid a difficult time.
More than a year after the “Okay Baby” TikToker tragically died at just 2 years old, his mom Katelynn Ordone confirmed to People that she and her son’s father Jaelen Ordone have divorced.
Katelynn’s confirmation comes just as she returned to social media following a three month break and shared photos of herself spending time with an unidentified man.
“As many of you already know, I’ve had a hard time coming back to social media since losing Preston,” Katelynn wrote alongside the July 11 Instagram post. “I’ve struggled to even pick up my phone to capture new memories, knowing he won’t be in any more of them.”
Acknowledging it had been 443 days since her son had died due to injuries he suffered in an April 2025 car collision, Katelynn continued, “There have been so many ups and downs, and while I’m still not ready to share everything with the world again just yet.”
Nevertheless, the 26-year-old—also mom to 8-year-old daughter Paisley—is slowly trying to find a new normal when it comes to sharing bits of her life.
“I’ve finally started picking up my phone again and capturing new memories more often,” Katelynn added. “Even though it’s still hard, I’m grateful I’ve reached this point because I know that’s what Preston would want. I truly believe he wants his mama to continue finding joy until we meet again someday.”

Nodding to the post with the new man—which featured a selfie with Katelynn as well as a photo of him driving a boat—the influencer said they were “a new memory I’d like to share.”
“I hope to keep sharing more as I’m ready,” Katelynn concluded. “Thank y’all so much for all the love, support, and grace you’ve shown me through all of this.”
Indeed, Katelynn has continued to share insight into her grieving journey following the loss of her son. In April, she marked the anniversary of Preston’s death and emphasized that passing time doesn’t make the wound any less painful.
“It’s the feeling that’s hardest to put into words…knowing I was supposed to be the one taking care of him, protecting him, loving him through every stage of life and now I can’t,” she shared in an April 28 post. “That kind of pain doesn’t go away.”
