As of 8:28 p.m. Moscow time (5:28 p.m. GMT), Brent crude was up 6.59%, trading at $81.02 per barrel.

By 8:33 p.m. Moscow time (5:33 p.m. GMT), Brent accelerated gains to trade at $81.15 per barrel (+6.76%). At the same time, August futures for WTI crude rose by 6.68% to $76.18 per barrel.
