PinkPantheress Making Feature Acting Debut In Daniels’ Secret Event Pic At Universal

EXCLUSIVE: Multiplatinum British recording artist, songwriter and producer PinkPantheress, aka Victoria Walker, is set to make her feature acting debut in the Daniels‘ secret event film at Universal.

She joins previously announced Matt Damon, Sandra Oh, Charles Melton, Sean Kaufman, Silvia Dionicio, Jackson Kelly, Kerrice Brooks, Thalia Dudek and Michael Gandolfini in the feature which is being helmed by the Oscar-winning Everything, Everywhere All at Once directing duo of Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. Details, of course, are under wraps.

PinkPantheress blasted off in 2021, dropping her R&B/alternative pop/UK garage tunes on TikTok and Sound Cloud. She immediately became embraced for her introspective lyrics, infectious beats and sampled ’90s and ’00s ditties. Boundary pushing, she became known for songs that were 90 seconds long; her eight-song album, Fancy That, is a mere 20 minutes long.

She notched two Grammy noms this year, for Best Dance Pop Recording for “Illegal” and Best Dance/Electronic Album for Fancy That. She also received the BRIT Award for Producer of the Year — the first woman and, at 25, youngest ever to win the award, at 25 — Variety’s Young Hollywood Music Innovator of the Year 2025, a spot on the 2025 Mercury Prize shortlist, Producer of the Year at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards and a place on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. Earlier this year, she earned her first No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 with “Stateside + Zara Larsson”. Across social, PinkPantheress counts 14.5M followers with 32.8M monthly listeners on Spotify. She’s been the face of such campaigns as Coach, Anna Sui’s line for Old Navy, Marc Jacobs Heaven, Starface, Bose, Apple, and more.

The multihyphenate is repped by M88, Up Close music management, music agency The Team, and Carroll Guido Groffman as well as Johnson, Shapiro, Slewett & Kole

The Daniels are producing the secret moview with Jonathan Wang through their company Playgrounds’ overall pact at Universal. Universal EVP Production Development Sara Scott and Director of Production Development Jacqueline Garell, are shepherding the project for the studio.

Universal had no comment about PinkPantheress joining the new Daniels movie, which opens in theaters on November 19, 2027.
