Vehicle fire shuts northbound lanes on Transmission Gully on Kāpiti Coast
A vehicle fire has shut the northbound lanes of Transmission Gully near Paekākāriki on the Kāpiti Coast.
New Zealand Transport Agency says northbound lanes are closed between the State Highway 1 and SH58 interchange and Mackays.
People should avoid the area.
Southbound lanes remain open and a detour is available via State Highway 59.
No one has been reported injured.
