The Liberation People’s Party (LPP), said it has launched its digital membership registration portal as part of efforts to commence full political operations.
The development followed a Court of Appeal judgment affirming LPP status as a registered political party in Nigeria.
In a statement by LPP’s National Organising Secretary, Dr Auwal Bashir, the party also announced the unveiling of its online membership platform and urged Nigerians to register and become members.
According to the statement, the launch marks a significant milestone in the party’s preparations to expand its membership base and position itself as a credible alternative in Nigeria’s political landscape.
The party recalled that the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal, in a unanimous judgment delivered on 2 June 2026, affirmed that the Liberation People’s Party is deemed to have been duly registered as a political party with effect from 22 December 2025.
LPP added that the introduction of the online registration platform signals the commencement of the party’s operations ahead of future political activities and electoral engagements.
The LPP said it is committed to providing Nigerians with credible political alternatives and strengthening democratic participation through inclusive membership and issue-based politics.
