
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) released new footage of the Mayon Volcano releasing lava effusion and minor Strombolian activity from its summit crater on Tuesday, July 14.
Recorded at 3:12 a.m on Tuesday, the volcano was seen generating incandescent lava flows and rockfalls as it experienced an effusive eruption for the 190th consecutive day.
The activities were also recorded from 4:08 to 4:29 AM, 5:38 to 5:39 AM, and 6:12 to 6:18 AM.
