
CEBU CITY, Philippines — A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck the municipality of Claveria in Masbate on Tuesday afternoon, July 14, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. The earthquake occurred at 3:04 p.m. Phivolcs said the tremor was felt at Intensity III in the City of Naga. Instrumental Intensity III was also recorded in the City of Legazpi in Albay, Gumaca in Quezon, and the City of Sorsogon in Sorsogon province.
